Travelled on from Julia Creek and refuelled at Richmond - the Dinasaur capital of Australia and then on to Hughenden and stopped for the night at Charters Towers.

We had a long day of travelling with lots of head and cross winds slowing us down so not much to report.  We also had problems with a broken catch on one of the caravan windows and had to stop a few times to close it - eventually we had to tape it up so will have to go into Townsville tomorrow to get it fixed.  Tomorrow morning we will have a look around Charters Towers, established in the gold mining era.
