Margaret River -  Cloudy and showers  and still cold.

We went out for the day to Port Augusta and the Leeuwin National Park.  On the way we called into Hamelin Bay.  There are many wineries in this area.  Margaret River is famous for its wines.

The Leeuwin Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia is the most south-westerly point of Australia and this is where the Southern Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet.  The lighthouse was built in 1895 and the original lens is still being used.

On the way back there were more vineyards and "up" villages - Boojidup, Wollyabrup, Boranup, Kudardup.

I had read about Cowaramup and wanted to see it.  It has taken the Cow as its' symbol and become quite a well-known tourist attraction as you will see from the pics below.
