Driving north from Perth, we passed through the wine producing area of Swan Valley. There are many vineyards in the south of WA. We were impressed by the new highway up the coast - it was not even on our maps.
On the way to Jurien Bay we called in at Yanchep - a recently developed area which has become very popular. It has beautiful beaches. Yanchep also has many large new homes with many more being built which is surprising as it is a small township so far from Perth.

We stayed the night at Jurien Bay, a small recreational fishing village. The beach was ..... OK - (Maybe we are getting spoiled with all the beautiful beaches on this coastline?)
