Another short journey today arriving in Kalbarri by lunch-time. The scenery changed yet again -more undulating countryside with small hills. A wheat & sheep farming area. We passed through the very pretty, historic village of Northampton.
A fellow-caravanner at Port Denison told us that Kalbarri was lovely and it is! We both decided we coud live here if it wasn't so far away from the family.

Kalbarri is on a lagoon which is perfect for swimming and for watersports. At the left of the picture you can just see the entrance from the ocean with waves breaking over the sandbar/rocks and with spray high in the air.
